Ram Navami ISKCON Govardhan EcoVillage Retreat 7

Ram Navami Blissful Retreat 7.0 – Where Discipline Meets Divine Flow
The 7th edition of the Sense22 Yoga Ram Navami Retreat at Govardhan EcoVillage was a deeply immersive journey into balance — blending yogic discipline with joyful living, and spiritual depth with lightness of being.
A Conscious Beginning
We opened with a welcome circle and orientation, creating a shared space of intention and connection. Participants gently transitioned from routine into a slower, more aware rhythm — setting the tone for the days ahead.
Living the Yogic Way
Each day unfolded through a carefully curated blend of practices — yoga (gentle, dynamic and YIN), pranayama, meditation and yoga nidra. Unique experiences like aqua yoga and mud bath therapy added a layer of detox and rejuvenation, allowing the body to release and reset. Nourishing sattvic prasadam further supported this inner alignment.
In Harmony with Nature
Set in the serene ecosystem of Govardhan EcoVillage, nature became an integral part of the experience. Vrindavan forest walks, eco-trails and a guided sustainability tour offered participants a chance to reconnect with simplicity, stillness and conscious living.
Spiritual Depth and Wisdom
The retreat was anchored in powerful spiritual practices — morning aarti, yagnya and temple darshan created a sacred rhythm to each day. Sessions on philosophy and chakra healing deepened inner awareness, while the sound healing and wisdom talks by Nimai Lila Prabhu facilitated profound emotional and energetic shifts.
Joy, Play and Connection
In true Sense22 spirit, the retreat balanced depth with joy. This edition introduced engaging experiences like pickleball, group games and an animal shelter visit. These moments fostered connection, laughter and a sense of community — reminding us that healing is not always serious; it can be playful.
Bhakti and Celebration
Being Ram Navami, devotion was at the heart of the retreat. A special Ramayana discourse, soulful evening kirtans and collective chanting created a deeply uplifting atmosphere. These moments allowed participants to connect not just within, but also with a shared spiritual energy.
A Meaningful Closure
The retreat concluded with a heartfelt closing ceremony, gratitude circle and participant reflections. What remained was a sense of clarity, calm and connection — a quiet transformation that each individual carried back into their lives.
Ram and Krishna – Two Paths, One Truth
At the core of this retreat lies a timeless understanding — Shri Ram and Shri Krishna as two expressions of the same divine consciousness, both avatars of Vishnu, yet offering distinct pathways.
Shri Ram, known as Maryada Purushottam, represents discipline, order and righteousness. His life is a guide to living with integrity, responsibility and unwavering commitment to dharma. He teaches us structure — how to act rightly, even when it is difficult.
Shri Krishna, the Leela Purushottam, embodies flow, love and wisdom. He transcends rigid boundaries, teaching us awareness, adaptability and surrender. His life shows us how to live fully, yet remain unattached.
If Ram is structure, Krishna is flow. If Ram is duty, Krishna is divine play.
Together, they are not opposites but complements. One grounds us, the other liberates us.
At Sense22 Yoga, this integration is the essence — guiding individuals towards a life that is both disciplined and free, rooted and expansive
